CSET Agriculture Test
The CSET: Agriculture test consists of three subtests. Each of these subtests is scored separately. The first subtest covers plant and soil science, and ornamental horticulture. The second subtest covers animal science, environmental science, and natural resource management. The third subtest covers agricultural business and economics, and agricultural systems technology.
Each CSET: Agriculture subtest contains both multiple-choice and constructed-response questions. Multiple-choice questions are scored based on the number of questions answered correctly. Constructed-response questions are designed to elicit a focused response that might take approximately 10-15 minutes to answer. Space is provided for the CSET: Agriculture examinee to write out his or her response. The constructed-response questions are scored 3, 2, 1, U (Unscorable), or B (Blank) based on how well the answer achieves the purpose of the question, applies subject matter knowledge, and gives supporting evidence in relation to the topic.
